This lecture will provide an overview regarding the globally successful inLab CAD/CAM system and its new software inLab SW4.0 launched very recently at the beginning of April 2012. Compromising different components as the inEos blue scanner, inLab MC XL milling unit and inFire HTC speed  sintering oven: Sirona’s inLab system provides you with an ideal basis for effective in-house milling. The new software inLab SW4.0 allows the processing of additional indications including telescopes, bars and attachments. LUNCH

15:50---16:30

Dr. M. Dieter - Bond it or loose it (how to cement prosthetic  restorations in the practice)

The reliable bond to enamel achieved with the adhesive luting technique has greatly impacted preparation designs resulting in significant  preservation of tooth structure. The combination of highly translucent all-ceramics and resin composite cements has opened up a new dimension in aesthetics fulfilling the highest patient demands.Clinical data confirm the long-term success of all-ceramic restorations. However, a perfect luting technique is an integral part of the treatment sequence and requires a careful and clinical protocol. Certain guidelines must be carefully followed in the process of clinical application to ensure the clinical longevity of prosthetic restorations. The lecture will address dental technicians and will give an overview on the various cementation techniques and materials that are available today. It will help dental technicians to get more knowledge about the predictable cementation of their prosthetic restorations in the dental practice in order to avoid typical problems like decementation post-operative sensitivity and discoloration of veneers.

16:35---17:05

Owen Peringuey - More profit + Less risk = Solid Zirconia Restorations

Solid Zirconia restorations have been developed to solve, probably the most frustrating problem a dental laboratory has to deal with: Too little space on the preparation, where layered porcelain or pressed ceramic restorations has been prescribed.  Solid Zirconia restorations provides aesthetic restorations that are virtually indestructible, kind to opposing dentition, and economically viable.

Then I will show some slides on the outcome of some removable appliances and the purpose of some soldered mini-appliances. Then finally discuss the myths of some appliances.
